Thanks to Lyubov for the recipe!

Wondering how to replace the meat? The answer is textured protein! It's a vegan alternative to meat, made from pea protein, black bean protein, and a pinch of salt. It contains no soy, flavorings, or allergens. Its taste is neutral and easily absorbs the aromas and flavors of the dish during cooking. The different textures of plant protein make it perfect for a variety of savory dishes.

And if you're tired of wasting time making delicious mashed potatoes, opt for the quick preparation of a ready-made Bett'r mashed potato mix, which doesn't compromise on taste or quality. It will give a delicate finish to the shepherd's pie, thanks to carefully selected spices that give it an irresistible aroma and make the experience uniquely delicious!

Preparation:

Step 1: Soak the pea protein following the instructions on its packaging.

Step 2: In a pan, heat a little oil and add the onion, protein, peas, and carrots.

Step 3: Sauté for about 10-12 minutes, then add the mixed salt, garlic powder, tomato puree, and 200ml of cooking cream. Simmer for another 5 minutes on low heat.

Step 4: In a bowl, combine the mashed potato mix with oil, salt, and soy milk. Stir until smooth.

Step 5: Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Step 6: Transfer the vegetable mixture into a deep baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes on top and pour over the remaining cooking cream.

Step 7: Grate cheese over the top and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
